It’s important to review the content on your site once a year at least and make sure that it has not gone out of date or stale.

Content pruning – as it is known – is a must if you want your local business to climb the rankings or stay on page 1. This involves updating or removing content that may no longer be relevant and could affect your pages’ rankings.

Getting to page #1 in your chosen niche is never an easy task but unique content will always drive your rankings in that direction. 

Page #1  rankings are usually achieved by having a huge amount of traffic from organic sources (i.e. customers who are visiting your website and purchasing something because they came across the product on one of their searches).

So, if you want to rank well on Google, you need to get as much traffic as possible from organic sources (i.e. customers looking for something without any paid advertising). The more organic traffic you can get, the better rankings you will receive.
